Some weeks

Some weeks you’ll feel lighter. Some weeks you won’t. Both count.

Two therapists, one quiet room on SE Belmont, and video sessions anywhere in Oregon. For adults and couples carrying a lot.

What changes

Not a straight line up. More like a slow drift in a better direction, with plenty of loops on the way.

  1. In the week

Hard days still happen. They stop deciding the whole week.

  2. In the moment

You notice the old pattern sooner, sometimes mid‑sentence.

  3. With others

You can say the hard thing to the person who needs to hear it.

What starting actually looks like

No intake marathon, no homework before you’ve met us.

  1. What’s bringing you in, in person or online, which times work. If we’re not right for you, we’ll name people who might be.

  2. Fifty minutes. Confidentiality, some history at whatever depth feels okay, and a rough sense of what we’d work on.

  3. Some weeks feel useful, some feel like nothing moved. We keep track of the bigger arc together.

  4. Most people move to every other week. When you’re ready, we plan the ending together, and the door stays open.

“I kept waiting to feel fixed. What happened was smaller and better: the bad weeks got shorter.”

Questions

The things people ask on the call

Is what I say confidential?

Yes. The only exceptions are the ones every Oregon clinician has: serious risk of harm, abuse of a child or vulnerable adult, or a court order. We go through this in the first session.

What if I need to cancel?

Give us 48 hours and there’s no charge. Later than that is billed in full, but we waive one late cancellation a year.

Do you take insurance?

We’re out of network. You get a monthly superbill to submit; ask your insurer about out‑of‑network mental health benefits.

In person or online: does it matter?

Not for how well it works. You can switch between the two whenever you like.

How will I know it’s working?

Every few sessions we check in on what you wanted to change. If it isn’t helping, we adjust or help you find someone better suited.
