Two partners, a small team, no surprises.
Tally & Rowe has kept books, filed taxes and run payroll for Chicago small businesses since 2011.

The firm
Mei Tally and Andre Rowe started the firm after seeing how many good businesses lost sleep over paperwork. Mei came from audit; Andre from his family's restaurants. Together they built a practice around one idea: the numbers should be done before you have to ask.
Today we look after 214 Chicago clients, from first-year studios to restaurants with forty on payroll, and every one of them has a name and a direct line.

The team
Mei Tally
Partner, CPA
Tax and year-end. She signs every return we file, after nine years in audit at a big firm.
Andre Rowe
Partner, EA
Books and payroll. He runs the monthly close, and grew up in his family's three restaurants.
Dana Ortiz
Senior bookkeeper
Catch-up projects and messy files. Dana is the person most clients email first.
Sam Whitfield
Payroll specialist
Pay runs, deposits and year-end forms for teams from one person to forty.
Our approach
- 01
Fixed fee, agreed first
You see the price before you start, and it is held for twelve months.
- 02
Same people, every month
A named bookkeeper and a named partner. No hand-offs, no ticket queues.
- 03
Early, not just on time
Books close on the 5th. Returns go in a week before the deadline.
