I photograph people the way they’d like to be remembered, and things the way they actually look.
Twelve years in, I still shoot the way I started on my father’s Yashica: one camera, mostly window light, and a lot of waiting for people to forget I’m there. Studio on Victoria Island; West Africa most months.
