OUR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Objects made to be used, not just admired.

Three makers throw, paint and fire every Formé piece in our Lyon atelier. A cup should reward every morning; a plate should invite touch. Beauty earned through daily use, not kept behind glass.

Thrown

500g of earthenware on the wheel, trimmed by hand the next day.

Painted

Each motif brushed freehand in underglaze. No stencils, no transfers.

Fired twice

Bisque, then glaze at 1080°C. Six to eight days from clay to table.

Signed

Stamped on the base and numbered in the kiln record.

MADE BY HAND

Every glaze, every motif, every mark — placed by a human hand.

We fire in small batches, paint each piece individually, and never repeat a run. The slight variations between pieces are not imperfections — they are the signature.
