Delivery, returns & care
Answers to what we're asked most. Can't find yours? Write to us — we reply within two business days.
Delivery & returns
- How is a piece shipped?
- Each piece is individually wrapped in tissue and packed in a fitted box with recycled paper padding. We ship within 3–5 business days of confirming your enquiry.
- Do you ship internationally?
- Yes — we ship across Europe, the UK and North America. Shipping cost depends on weight and destination, and is confirmed with you before anything is sent.
- Can I return a piece?
- If a piece arrives damaged or isn't as described, tell us within 7 days and we'll replace it or refund you in full. Handmade ceramics vary slightly piece to piece — that isn't a defect.
Caring for your ceramics
- Is it dishwasher safe?
- Hand washing keeps the glaze and hand-painted detail looking its best for longest, though our glazes are food-safe and can tolerate an occasional dishwasher cycle on a gentle setting.
- Can it go in the microwave or oven?
- Cups, plates and bowls are microwave-safe. Baking dishes are oven-safe up to 200°C — avoid extreme temperature changes, like taking a piece straight from the freezer into a hot oven.
- Why does the glaze look slightly different on my piece?
- Every piece is dipped and painted by hand, and our kiln firing brings out small variations in glaze pooling and tone. That variation is what makes it handmade, not mass-produced.
How to buy a piece
- Why isn't there a checkout?
- We fire in small batches, so stock and shipping costs vary piece by piece. Send an enquiry from any product page and we'll confirm availability, price and shipping before anything is charged.
- How long until I hear back?
- We reply to every enquiry within two business days, usually sooner.
- Can I buy in person?
- Yes — visit the atelier in Lyon or find us at an upcoming market. See our markets page for dates.
