Our story.
Stan Kowalski opened the shop on SE Division Street in 1987 with one van and a rule: tell people the price before you touch the pipe. Nearly forty years on, that rule is still printed at the top of every invoice.
Today Kowalski Plumbing is a team of licensed plumbers working across Portland and six nearby towns. Every plumber is background-checked every year, carries the same tools, and quotes the same way: on site, in writing, before work starts.
We keep the work simple. Find the cause, explain it in plain words, give you the price, fix it, and photograph the result so you can see what was done.

The quote is the bill
We quote on site before work starts. If the job turns out bigger, we stop and ask before spending your money.

Leave it cleaner
Drop cloths down, floors wiped, old parts hauled away. You should not be able to tell we were there except that it works.

Show our work
Photos of the repair by text, camera footage for drains, and notes on anything else we noticed.
