Water heaters

No hot water usually has a simple cause. We diagnose it on the first visit, fix it when it is worth fixing, and tell you plainly when a replacement makes more sense.

A Kowalski plumber installing a new tank water heater beside copper pipes and an expansion tank in a basement

What's covered.

  • Pilot, thermostat and element repairs
  • Relief valve and anode replacement
  • Tank flushing for sediment build-up
  • Full replacement with the old unit hauled away
  • Expansion tank checks and installs
  • Six years' warranty on heaters we install

How it works.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We check the heater's age, relief valve, anode and fuel supply, and tell you how long it has left.

  2. 02

    Repair or replace

You get both prices when both make sense. Many repairs are finished the same visit.

  3. 03

    Install and test

New heaters are set, vented, tested and the old tank is taken away the same day.

Quoted on site before work starts, and the quote is the bill. Evenings and weekends add $85. 12 months on every repair.
