What it is.
A porcelain cap that covers and strengthens a tooth that is cracked, heavily filled or has had a root canal. Crowns are made by a lab two streets away.

- Teeth with large fillings or cracks
- Teeth after a root canal
- Anyone wanting a strong, natural-looking repair
What to expect.
- Visit one: shaping the tooth, a scan, and a temporary crown
- A few days while the lab makes your crown
- Visit two: fitting, checking the bite, and polishing
How long it takes.
About 75 minutes, across two visits.
Aftercare.
- Avoid very sticky food while the temporary is on
- Floss gently around the crown from the side
- Wear a night guard if you grind; we can make one
