Decorative finishes

Limewash, plaster and specialist effects with real depth.

Overview

What is included

Where a flat coat will not do, we apply limewash, clay paint, Venetian plaster and traditional glazes that give a wall movement and depth, and that suit period homes particularly well.

Expect three to six days for a single room or stair hall.

How it works

Our process

  1. Step 01

    Sample

    We make large boards in your chosen colours and leave them with you for a few days.

  2. Step 02

    Base

    Walls are repaired and sealed with the correct breathable base coat.

  3. Step 03

    Build the effect

    Layers are applied by hand with brush or trowel, each left to cure before the next.

  4. Step 04

    Protect

    Where the surface needs it, we seal and explain how to look after it.
